In December I discovered a spot under my hair where there was only patchy and very fine and white hair. There had been no warning signs other than maybe I was “shedding” a bit more than usual, but I brush out a lot of hair every morning and it has always grown back fast and unnoticeable.
Anyways, this shampoo was offered for review at the right time, and I started using it 4 times a week as suggested. The shampoo is very smooth and lathers amazingly in the hair. There is no tingling (which I’ve experienced with other systems) and it sits in the hair well and washes out easily after I’ve let it work for the recommended time.
The flip-top container is very nicely designed and the bold red colour (along with the accompanying orange conditioner) looks good on the shelf.
I don’t care much for the scent, but it is not too strong and therefore not uncomfortable or particularly noticeable.
I don’t know yet that it will help against hairloss or whether it will improve the patchy part, but I can say that my hair feels in much better condition after I’ve used this for a couple of weeks. It’s not as brittle (something that also suddenly happened in December) and it doesn’t seem to shed quite as much as it did.
The price for the shampoo and it’s conditioner is much too high in my mind, so, therefore, I’ll take a star off for that.
One thing that I would like to improve on their bottle is that they have the basic instructions of how long to leave it in etc. there. It is all detailed in the insert slip and on the packaing, but I don’t want to refer back to that every time. They have a text stating on the bottle that you can refer to the packaging for how to use it. Why didn’t they use that space to say keep it in for 2-3 minutes before rinsing???

Using this to help with stress induced hair loss alongside tablets. I’m definitely seeing an improvement in regrowth but it’s by no means a miracle cure. Still going to keep at it and keep my fingers crossed. The bottle is nice and it smells fine. I would say it’s a bit overpriced though

My partner has been using shampoos, conditioners and ointments/tonics with DHT blockers and those containing caffeine, taurine and keratin etc for a year or so to help with keeping his slightly thinning hair a bit thicker and help support preventing further loss whilst strengthening and encouraging new growth. These do work, but you have to use them long-term and have to use them consistently without stopping to retain the effects and more recently. This shampoo specifically should be used at least four times a week and along with the conditioner as well as the topical to apply twice a day to see good results, so it’s not cheap, but it’s effective when followed correctly and routinely. Iv’e started using similar hair products in more recent times to help lessen by own hair shedding (mostly from over treating it) , so these are all ingredients in this conditioner we’ve already seen good results with and researched enough previously myself to be convinced of the effectiveness and being worthy of investing in. It has a nice scent and lathers reasonably well and is fairly typical price wise of effective products in this area, so if you’re looking to switch from your current dht blocker or use this in conjunction with others then it’s a good option.

I really like this! It smells nice and lathers well. It does leave my hair feeling not so good, but used with the matching conditioner it feels great! The pack does come with a sachet of conditioner so you can try before you buy. It’s gonna take a while to see if it lives up to its hair growth claims, but so far so good. Only problem is the instructions for use are on a leaflet and not on the bottle which seems daft to me – especially as the bottle say to read the leaflet for instructions!

The verdict is out if it works, but it’s an excellent shampoo. For $40 a bottle I’m hoping to see some significant change in my hair loss. But for now, it’s great. Has amazing scent, nice lather, and my head is a happy head.
I’ll update my review in a month to validate the claims.
